ARIFF MasterClass


As part of the Festival industry programme, the Africa  International Film Festival (ARIFF) is organizing master classes kicking off from the 10th -14th of November at the Marina Resort Calabar.

The Sessions & Schedule are as follows:

MONDAY 10th
10 am - 1 pm > Art of Film Criticism - Master Class.
1 pm - 3 pm > Lunch break.
3 pm - 5 pm > Going International "Get Ready, Get Seen, Get Sold, Get Released.

TUESDAY 11th
10 am - 12 pm > Film Marketing 101 (1.5hrs)
12 pm - 1 pm > Demystifying Distribution in Nigeria (1.5hrs).
1 pm - 3 pm > Lunch break.
3 pm - 5 pm > International Co-productions

WEDNESDAY 12th
10 am - 1 pm > Relativity Nollywood Summit - Digital Distribution & Piracy (1.5hrs each)
1 pm - 3 pm > Lunch break.
3 pm - 5 pm > Relativity Education - Symposia
5 pm - 7 pm > Relativity Film Screening.

THURSDAY 13th
10 am - 12 pm > Google Youtube Session ( 1.5hrs)
12 pm - 1 pm > The History, The Picture, The Art, The Film (1.5hrs)
1 pm - 3 pm > Lunch break.
3 pm - 4 pm > Acting Lab - Professional Ethics
4 pm - 5 pm > Adapting African Literature For Screen - A Cinematic Goldmine (1.5hrs)

FRIDAY 14th
10 am - 12 pm > Finance For Film Making & Documentaries in Africa.
12 pm - 1 pm > The Restless Pitch PART 1: How to Pitch.
1 pm - 3 pm > Lunch break.
3 pm - 5 pm > The Restless Pitch PART 2: Main Pitch Session
